Illiteracy ain't got nothing on me.

Guess what? Things have been a little slow around here, mostly because I've been handling some extra duties over at Bloody Good Horror for the past few weeks. That doesn't mean that The Film Fiend is headed in the same lifeless direction as most movie-related blogs these days. Heavens, no! However, while you're waiting for the next bite-sized nugget of cinematic tomfoolery from yours truly to invade your blog reader, why not investigate some reviews I've posted elsewhere? Sounds like a pretty good plan to me. In addition to tackling such celluloid atrocities as Legend of the Bog and Hide, I was able to properly consume both the 20th Anniversary edition of Rick Sloane's 1988 cheesefest Hobgoblins and the disturbing German infection outing Able. And while all of that is fine and dandy and shaped curiously like Christmas candy, I'm very pleased to present my review of Chris Nahon's vampire swordplay endeavor Blood: The Last Vampire, a film that ranks as one of the biggest theatrical disappointments of the year. Shame on you, Nahon. If that weren't enough to turn your eyeballs bloodshot and kick start the migraine that's been oozing around the base of your skull since last Monday, my cohorts at BGH have plenty of news, reviews, and podcasts to waste your precious time with. What are you waiting for? Get going, for crying out loud. You're already twenty minutes late for your next Chinese electroshock Internet therapy session. Please, for the love of God, don't make Dr. Chan angry.

Bulging forehead veins make me gag.
